VW Golf R32 - Diamond XXL - Black

A few weeks ago, I talked about removing portions of the bumper that separate different grill openings to make one big opening. This week's picture of an '04 VW Golf R32 is something along the same concept. Of course with such a large opening, you need a large mesh and we were the go to place for some Diamond XXL grill material. It was a good match with the mesh that was on the sides and overall I think it turned out well.

It's come to the point where I think I'll make a how-to video on some simple guidelines for making a template to send in. This seems to be a point where a lot of people get stuck, when they're thinking about making a kit for themselves or when they are going to submit a pattern to me. Look for that in the upcoming weeks and hopefully it will help anyone out there struggling with trying to get the right shape and size started.

This week, we did a nice Black Small Diamond grill for a Chevy Cobalt that is being used as a replacement after a customer was in a car accident and lost their first grill inserts. I do have some templates for the lower sections of the Cobalt, but I'm missing installed pictures. If you have the Cobalt SS model and are interested in a mesh piece for the lower bumper opening, please send me an email. Have a good weekend.
