Q: How do
I install these grills on my vehicle?
A: It depends.
Some are held on by metal wire or cable
ties, while others use adhesive or metal
clips. Please inquire on your specific model
for full details. Click

product page.
Most precut grills have instructions here
on the website. Just select you Make, then
Model/Year. Click on "details"
and then click "download instructions".
The file will be in Adobe Acrobat 5.0+ format
and maybe large.
Putco brand grills usually come with stainless
steel hardware. Mr Grille brand grills are
usually attached with cable ties.

| Q:
Will my custom car grill rust?
A: No, our mesh
should not rust. The standard material used is
a 100% aluminum (3003 grade) 3/16” standard
expanded metal and by nature it is very corrosion
and rust resistant. Under normal driving/weather
conditions the mesh should not rust.
In comparison to other materials like steel,
aluminum maybe a weaker material but it will provide
a better finish over time. Don't get suckered
into buying a cheapo grill out of gutter guard.
Regardless of what they say, it will rust.

Q: Do you have a
grill for _________?
A: I don't know...
do We? Please look and if it is not listed then
no we do not. Some grills can be custom done upon
request but not everything is possible. Keep in
mind I need to have access to the car, the right
materials, and the time to make it so most one
of a kinds are going to either cost a lot or take
a long time to do.
Full blown custom grills are going to be priced
at a premium. To get a "one off" grill
complete you will need to incur all the one time
tooling, material, time, and R&D assuming
it is possible.

Q: Do your grills
come in any different colors?
A: No, we do not
carry painted grills anymore for 95% of the models.
The mesh it easily paintable though by the average
enthusiast. We have seen several customers use
store bought spray paint to pull off a very nice
custom look. We fully recommend a nice powder
coat, but if it is not in your budget almost any
paint will work but be sure to clear coat.
We do offer some powdercoated gloss black, white,
red, & blue mesh sheets for sale here on the
website.

A: Sure, Click

we get it, the sooner we will ship out.

When can I expect my custom car grill?
A: Most orders take
1-2 business days to process and then they are
shipped USPS 2-3 Day Priority Service. Grill from
other brands are typically shipped through UPS
ground and can take up to 7-9 business days to
receive if in stock.

Q: Why does this
grill mesh look like chicken wire?
A: I have no clue...
if you go to a hardware store and get chicken wire
you will not see anything like my mesh. For a good

Q: I can't get the
instructions to download... what's the deal?
A: You need Adobe
Acrobat 5.0+ to view correctly. It is available
to download for free at www.adobe.com.
Some instructions are a large file; be patient
and it will transfer.
Tip: Right
click on "download instructions" and
"save target as" to transfer them to
your disk.

Q: Why are your
grills so expensive?
A: They aren't.
To buy just a ONE SHEET of the material used in
the grills you would have to spend roughly $40
at a national store. We offer precut grills with
hardware and instructions. Shop around and become
educated on what you are buying. We have the best
deal in town.

Q: Why are your
grills so cheap?
A: We have lower
costs than the national brands. Instead of overkill
on hardware and shiny box labels we give you what
you need. Instead of steel that can rust, we use
aluminum which looks better and is much more weather
resistant. We try to keep all our costs low to
provide a cheap alternative to the costly national
brands.

Q: Why
are your pulleys so expensive?
A: Compared
to who? To our knowledge we have the cheapest
pulleys around per model. All of our pulleys are
offered as cheap as we can make them. Im comparison
to some national brands we are 1/2 the price.

Are your pulleys balanced?
A: Yes they are
balanced but they are not balancers. The parts
are made on a CNC lathe where the parts have to
be balanced to be made. Engines equipped with
INTERNALLY balanced crankshafts do not need balancers.

Q: Do you accept
credit cards directly?
A: Yes/No. The customcargrills.com
website is partially paypal based, partially 2checkout
based, and partially mail order. We do not accept
credit cards directly over the phone because we
can avoid the monthly fees of a credit card service
and pass the savings onto you. We take credit
cards directly ONLY through the website.

Q: Why no cash refunds?
A: Each grill is
made on a per customer basis and these are custom
fit to the application. We have no room/ use for
a returned grill as we do not know when we would
be able to sell a specific model/color again.
By nature, custom products of any sort are not
returnable. If your grill is defective or damaged
in shipment, let us know and we can replace it.
