This is a 5 piece grille mesh set for a Chevy Corvette C8 Z06 & E-Ray from 2023 - 2024. Our mesh pieces are pre-cut specifically for the C8 Z06 / E-Ray model and includes mesh pieces for all of the openings on the front bumper. Door vents are not included.
These mesh pieces will fit behind your existing grille and attaches with supplied cable ties. Our radiator guards are made from a 1/4" hexagon aluminum mesh that is 1/16" thick and has a durable high gloss black powder coat that matches the OEM finish on the front end.
Rubber trim has been placed on the notch by the passenger side sensor, and trim is also wrapped around the pieces between the center section and outer section.
Please note: The short mesh piece for the bumper with the front plate bracket equipped can be installed with the bumper still on the vehicle. The taller mesh piece designed for the front bumper with the front plate bracket removed may require bumper removal to install.
Is bumper removal required for installation?
No, bumper removal is not required for installation for installs with the front plate bracket piece equipped.
Cable ties, really? Isn't there a better way to install this?
At the low price point that we're at, a cable tie installation is one of the compromises made. If we could have made an installation without cable ties and kept the price as low as we have then it would have been done.
Is rubber trim applied on the outside of all the mesh?
Just like with the cable ties, this is another compromise made for the price that we're selling these for.
A small strip of rubber trim has been applied to the notch for the sensor on the passenger side. Rubber trim has also been applied all the way around the pieces that go between the center and the outer sides. Other than that, no rubber trim has been applied to the mesh pieces.
The edges of the grilles will be sharp but the edge of the grille does not come in contact with the front of the bumper. Rubber trim around all of the pieces is not needed when installed properly. The installer will need to handle these with care to insure no injury to themselves or the vehicle.
