This is a replacement grille mesh set for a Ford Mustang GT500 from 2020-2022. The set includes 4 precut and formed mesh pieces that utilize a high air flow hexagon mesh set which offers better protection than the factory design.

Our hexagon design uses 1/4 inch spacing which provides a much tighter pattern than the OEM mesh pieces do, while retaining very high flow for cooling. Top, Bottom, and both Side mesh pieces are included in the price.

This set is intended for use with OEM grills & bumper, we have not tested these on regular Mustang bumper conversion kits. The mesh pieces come powder coated gloss black have a bent edge which is similar the stock grilles.

Yes, bumper removal is required for installation. Please view the linked video for the bumper removal process.

No installation hardware is included, only the mesh pieces. Simply remove the old factory mesh and replace with the new mesh.

The stock 0.45” hex grille has 81% open area vs. 77% for the 0.25” mesh—only a 4% reduction. Over five years, my coolers were about 50% blocked from debris damage, suggesting roughly a 10% loss in flow per year with the stock grille. From what I’ve seen over the past year, the 0.25” mesh rejects ~60% more rocks and debris than stock with no increase in temps on the track or at road rallies.
ShelbyFlyer ran an offset mesh that likely reduced open area by more than 4% and saw no increase in oil temps on track, which gave me confidence to switch to the 0.25” mesh.
