This is a full replacement grille that is pre-assembled for a Toyota 4Runner from 1996 - 2002 and ready to be installed out of the box.
These are made with an aftermarket 1996-98 grille frame, with the center cut out, repaired, repainted, and the mesh installed. The grille frame has a flat black finish. Our mesh piece is made in the USA.
Additional lettering or emblems can be added to the grille with the options above. 1999 - 2002 owners may need to modify the mounting tabs for installation; more info available in the FAQ section.

These grilles are made to order. Lead time to make them can vary depending on configuration. Current lead time for a plain grille is 3-4 weeks; color matched components can add 2 weeks to the build on average.

Do I need to cut my factory grille to install this grille?
No. This is pre-assembled and ready to go out of the box. No grille cutting involved, we've done all that work already.
Can I install this grille directly to a 1999-02 model year?
Yes, but the female part of the mounting clip may be slightly different than the male connector of the 1996-98 frame we use. Some 1999-02 clips aren't as tall as the 1996-98 grilles. If this is an issue, there's a few different fixes. Either make the clip taller, swap the clips, or cut off the attachment clips and bolt it on.
What color is the mesh used for this?
By default, flat black is the color of the mesh. We can use gloss black as well, contact us for more info about this.
