This is a mesh grill piece for a Subaru BRZ from 2013-2016. Our mesh is pre-cut and pre-bent and ready to install in the factory bumper after the center area has been cut out (as shown in our video installation).

Only the mesh piece is being sold, and modification of the factory bumper is required for installation.

Yes-ish. It can fit a 2017+ but there is extra cutting of the bumper needed. We have seen installations on the 2017 and newer model with some examples in our customer gallery. We currently do not have information on the extra modifications needed, but plan to get the bumper in the future to make another video.
At this time, the Perforated GT is the only mesh we plan to offer this in.

Great product!

After installing a supercharger on my BRZ, underhood temps went up quite a bit. Since I live in the desert, I decided to get a vented hood and open up the front grill for more air circulation. The CustomCarGrills grill went on exactly as shown in the video and took about three hours in total. It looks great and underhood temps went down as expected. The installation had no effect on front bumper rigidity, and there are no vibrations or buffeting at speed either from the grill or the hood. I would totally recommend this either for performance or just for looks.
